Recovery Week and GO VOLS! Part 1

What a perfect time for a recovery week.  My brother is being inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame and we were invited to Tennessee to celebrate his achievement.  I had gotten us a flight out on Wednesday so we could have extra time in Tennessee and do some fun stuff possibly and a flight back on Sunday.   Here are a few pictures from our trip.

First flight on a tiny plane.

First time on an airport tram.

Second flight and a little bit of turbulence but smooth landing and a much bigger plane.

First stop: Waffle house, a Southern staple.

Hotel pool time.

Mommy still has to work. The joys of owning a small business.

PF Changs for dinner, a first for both boys.

Day 2 Adventures: DOLLYWOOD!

Heading out from the parking lot to the park on a tram.

SO many Halloween pumpkins and lights.

First roller coaster ride.  For a kiddy coaster it was fast!

All smiles after!

The lumberjack ride!

Mountain of pumpkins!  Didn't make it back to see it lit up.

First big boy roller coaster.  All smiles after, but never again is what he claims.

SO many cool hand carved pumpkins.

Love the eagles everywhere and eagle mountain. The eagles were so active when we were there.

GIANT pumpkins!  One was over 1600 lbs.

Andrew says, "My place to be".

Had to get some caramel apples.

In pumpkin heaven.

Riding Cinderella the steam engine.  Best part of the day.

Every part of this park is beautiful.

Riding the carousel.

Rain cut our trip short but it was a great day!

Stay tuned for part 2!
