Another week of racing. I'm tired but I don't want it to end because that may mean "the end". I know there is another chapter of the book waiting to be written in some other form of a race car and on some other form of a track, but these years have been so good to us.
Monday was off thanks to traveling and not sleeping. I did get lots done at the house so there is that. I got 4 work outs done this week and I am happy to get back in the groove after a short week. It's still a thousand degrees in the shop even though it's cooler outside. Sigh. I just love metal buildings.
We did get down to Manhattan Brewing Company for some Nintendo and beer. I had a massage downtown as one of my friends just left the very high price spa she was at to go out on her own. I will support bold moves every day of the week, even if my budget didn't have massage money in it.
We ended the week with some great racing. Andrew waited too long to pass for 2nd in heavy Honda, so ended up third for the feature. He had an amazing race in the animal (i was hiding, this car scares the hell out of me) and got a second and fought hard to bring home a fourth in heavy 160 in a very competitive class. He is running some of the fastest times in his life right now, even being a super big kid, but sadly or not sadly for them, others are as well. Also, it's that time of year when people are done as our season is SUPER long and I'm dealing with some fall out that I will probably blog about next week. Sigh.
That side eye from Dash is the BEST! Have a great week y'all!
